Simon Perrin, CEO and FOUNDER

Simon started his career with IBM in Australia whilst travelling during the late 1980’s which is where he got is first experience of the importance of excellent customer support. Simon moved back to London where he held sales roles at Apple and at Oracle consultancy Pentos, where he led the sales effort to 100% Y-o-Y growth. During his sales career, Simon recognised the need for a more flexible approach to business solutions and wanted to offer a personalised approach where customers actually knew the guy that was supporting their data platform. Simon founded NCS in 1994. His intention was to build a business where the quality of the relationship was the key driving factor to differentiate NCS from the white labelled call centers that were being offered by big IT. 20+ years later understanding the customer and their business is the value that drives NCS' growth.

Syed Kazmi, CTO

Syed has built a reputation is an impressive leader managing and administrating a wide array of data platforms. He is also responsible for establishing and maintaining NCS' impressive service record, which has never been bettered. Syed built NCS' flexible service model and manages a team of DBA's & DBM's that are dedicated resources or both on and off-shore shared resource. Syed was previously with Alchemetrics, a database a database marketing specialist before joining Oracle as a DBA, focusing on Oracle Apps. He then spent a number of years with an Oracle consultancy during which time he contracted for HP as a senior DBA. Syed joined NCS in 2006, as a senior database consultant, but quickly rose through the ranks, being promoted to Director of Consultancy and was appointed CTO in 2015. Syed has been a regular conference speaker on database issues, is a keen traveler and works for number of charities providing relief from natural disasters. Husband and father, but still finds time to enjoy his sporting Interests.

SIMON DRINKWATER - GENERAL MANAGER NCS (US)

Simon is a Business Development leader with experience across high growth technology business sectors, including SaaS and Cloud, providing Solutions and Managed Services for Billing, OTT Content, Compute and Network. Simon is responsible for building NCS' US entity and is looking forward to replicating the success that NCS UK has enjoyed over the last 20+ years. Simon was previously Senior Director of Ecosystem for Megaport Inc, a SaaS leader building the first ecosystem neutral, global Network as a Service that provides agile direct connectivity solutions to AWS, Azure AND Google Cloud. Simon established the New York office and secured key strategic accounts including; Google Cloud Interconnect, Edgecast, Cloudflare and Limelight. Simon has also been responsible for building and executing partner programs at CSG International and Limelight Networks.

Nicola Wise, HR director

Nicola joined NCS in 2003 and has overseen the the recruitment and development of team. She is responsible for attracting and screening the best talent, to ensure that NCS offer a highly ethical, diverse and responsive support team to our customers.
